Stephen Johnson Photography Studio, Pacifica, California
$400 - Contact Seán Duggan to register / 530-477-8494

This two-day class is an introduction to Adobe Photoshop CS3 designed for photographers by a photographer.  Participants will be guided through the Photoshop interface and learn the basic tools, techniques and concepts used in the editing of photographic images. We will cover the basics of working with digital images with the aim of fostering a familiarity and comfort level that will serve as a strong foundation for further exploration with this powerful software. The class enrollment is limited to 10 students, which is a good size to allow for time to work on the techniques as well opportunities for one-on-one instruction.

The new state-of-the-art digital lab at Stephen Johnson's studio is an excellent venue for a hands-on class. And for additional inspiration, the adjacent gallery displays Stephen's inspiring large format digital landscape photography from With a New Eye: The Digital National Parks Project. For those interested in coming early, or staying on after the class, nearby Highway 1 provides access to some wonderful coastal scenery.
