The front of the AltoidCam. The pinhole was made with a pin in a small piece of aluminum pie tin. The interior of the mint tin has been spray painted with flat black paint.

The AltoidCam in action. The seam where the lid overlaps the tin is taped up with black electrical tape to prevent light leaks.

A pinhole photo taken with the AltoidCam. Black and white photo paper was cut to size and placed inside the tin to create a paper negative of the scene. The exposure time was about 2.5 minutes and the still life was lit with a small table lamp and some flashlight painting for fill light. After the exposure, the photo paper was tray developed in a chemical darkroom. After washing and drying, the paper negative was scanned, inverted and sepia toned in Adobe Photoshop CS2.
